Taking place the weekend of the 4th / 5th July 2009 they’ve sweet-talked the following acts to grace the boards:

2009 Festivals to Remain in Hyde Park

We are thrilled to announce that the O2 Wireless Festival will remain in Hyde Park, viewed as the most prestigious outdoor events site in the UK.

Several bidders were invited by Royal Parks to submit a formal tender proposal. Live Nation’s ten year history with Royal Parks has seen many unforgettable events being staged in Hyde Park and this will continue through to 2011 with the award of the new agreement between Live Nation and Royal Parks.

2008 saw many memorable events in Hyde Park including the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Concert and Live Nation owned festivals Hard Rock Calling and the O2 Wireless Festival.

Get ready to join us in Hyde Park again in 2009!

It is owned and managed by Live Nation. The O2 Wireless Festival is one of the most renowned Festivals in the history of the UK. People are not joining from UK but they also come from different parts of the world to see extravaganza O2 Wireless Festival.

The O2 Wireless Festival 2008 spanned 4 days in Hyde Park. An attempt to hold a parallel festival in Leeds similar to the Reading and Leeds Festivals (annually held pair of Reading Festival and Leeds Festival managed by Festival Republic) arrangement was unsuccessful. Instead of it, a variety of club nights featuring billed artists were held. The headliners were Jay-Z, Morrissey, Fatboy Slim and Counting Crows.

The O2 Wireless Festival is a music festival in England that takes place every year in Hyde Park, London, and took place at Harewood House, Leeds in 2006 and 2007. It is owned and managed by Live Nation.

The O2 Wireless Festival is one of the most renowned Festivals in the history of the UK. People are not joining from UK but they also come from different parts of the world to see extravaganza O2 Wireless Festival.

The O2 Wireless Festival 2007 took place between June 14-17 2007 in Hyde Park, and June 15-17 2007 at Harewood House. For the first time, the Leeds festival offered camping facilities at the festival. Campers were allowed to stay on Lord Harewood’s land for £25 for as many festival days as they wished. There were 3 stages this year, and the O2 Blueroom where only O2 customers were allowed to enter. The event headliners were The White Stripes, Daft Punk, Kaiser Chiefs and Faithless.

The event headliners were The Strokes, David Grey, Massive Attack, James Blunt and Depeche Mode. Other performers included Belle & Sebastian, KT Tunstall, The Flaming Lips, Pharrell, Goldfrapp, The Raconteurs, Dirty Pretty Things and Gnarls Barkley.

The Harewood House festival ran from 24 June to 25 June 2006. Massive Attack, Goldfrapp, DJ Shadow, Pharrell, Gnarls Barkley, and Terry Callier performed on the first day. The Who, Super Furry Animals, The Flaming Lips, The Zutons and Eels performed on the second day.
